well, that’s okay. she’ll make an awesome album, and i’ll totally buy it. and at least she can do what she wants without the pressures of american idol’s shitty contract. taylor hicks is almost free from their binding ropes, so maybe he can do what he wants now, too. go underdogs. i love you, melinda. =(

every year on american idol, there is one person i just absolutely cannot stand. here they are, from season one to now:

1. nikki mckibbin…a no-talent ass clown who went WAY farther than she ever should have gone.

2. kimberly caldwell…a bitch to her fellow singers during auditions; i held that against her the entire season.

3. jon peter lewis (a.k.a. “JPL”)…another no-talent ass clown, but add “annoying” and “obnoxious” to that.

4. mikalah gordon…annoying (save the voice for the nanny, honey), obnoxious little bitch who thought she was funny.

5. kellie pickler…used her country-fied sob story (”my daddy’s in jail! boohoo! wow, i ain’t never seen no big city before!”) to wow audiences everywhere.

and the big shocker…

6. sanjaya fuckin’ malakar.

i don’t even keep up with AI as strongly this year as i have in the past, but i wish mowgli would go the hell home. i mean, really, it’s obvious that his teeny-bopper fans are the only ones keeping him going. he’s a joke and nothing more.

so the latest AI scandal focuses on 20-year-old antonella barbra. pictures of her as topless on the beach, drinking underage, on the TOILET (what the fuck, really, now…) have surfaced (go here for the incriminating pictures, and even more are available here.). despite the fact that she was doing things like partying illegally, nobody seems to care. she’s still on the show, and the producers don’t seem to have given her any hell about it.

my question is this– frenchie davis was 100% legit when she posed nude on some online site to get money for college. really. and the producers booted her off so fast, it made her head spin. what the hell is that about?

however, i argue one further point i cannot stress enough– my friends, it IS the internet, and EVERYONE will see what you post because it is PUBLIC. if you’re underage and have pictures of you drinking on your myspace profile, people WILL find them and use them against you one day, somehow, someway. don’t toss around any sort of incriminating photos like it’s not a big deal. if you’re going to put stupid shit like this online for some ungodly reason, at least blur out your face or your eyes or something so people can’t actually prove it’s you. DUH!
